Cinammon essential oil

Traditionally in aromatherapy, Cinnamon leaf essential oil is associated with the following therapeutic properties:
Anesthetic, antibacterial, antiseptic, antispasmodic, carminative, emmenagogue, stimulant, heating.
Specialist aromatherapists very rarely, if ever, use cinnamon leaf (or cinnamon bark) essential oil for topical (skin) applications due to the high risk of irritation and sensitization.
