Cedarwood essential oil
Traditionally in aromatherapy Himalayan cedar wood essential oil is associated with the following therapeutic properties:
Anti-catarrhal, anti-inflammatory, anti-seborrhoeic, anti-rheumatic, sedative, cooling, deodorant, expectorant, insecticidal, sedative, tonic
The wood of the Himalayan cedar has recently become popular in aromatherapy as a possible “replacement” for the Atlas Mountain cedar, which is now listed as an endangered species.
Specialist aromatherapists use Himalayan Cedarwood essential oil for common conditions such as:
